If you haven’t paid for using the road within five days, a toll payment notice will be sent to the registered vehicle owner and an additional administration charge of $2.20 added to cover the cost of issue. We may also pass any unpaid tolls and associated costs onto a debt collection agency.
You need to pay the toll payment notice as soon as you can – if it hasn’t been paid within 28 days an infringement notice may be sent to the registered vehicle owner and a $40 fee is issued for each toll trip.
If the infringement notice is left unpaid a reminder notice is sent to the registered owner of the vehicle.
The registered vehicle owner then has 28 days to pay before the infringement is passed to the Ministry of Justice for collection.
